About
I used to work in finance but I hated the culture. So I took 6 months to self-learn code and I then transitioned to data.
I’ve since quit my full-time job and to hack my way through life. Now, I optimize my life to be in flow daily and to minimise long-term regret. Writing and coding are autotelic activities for me and they give me flow, so I try to engage in them as much as I can.
Curiousity
Curiosity is both my guide and engine. It tells me what to build and gives me the energy to actually do it.
What I’m curious about now: what does it take to build a profitable, bootstrapped business when more than 90% of businesses fail?
Questions
I believe quality ideas are a leading indicator of a quality life. I think good questions help surface quality ideas. Here are some questions I’m thinking about:
- What does my ideal Tuesday look like and am I living it?
- What are some hidden skills that are extremely useful?
- What strong belief do I hold now that might change in 5 years?
- What am I optimising my life for?
